Our Identity
Ska-Per are an eight-piece ska covers band from East Sussex who’ve been igniting dance floors for six years straight. With keys, guitar, drums, bass, and a brass section that packs serious punch with horn, trombone, and sax — their shows are a joyous riot of rhythm and charisma. At the helm, a magnetic frontman leads the charge, whipping crowds into a frenzy with every beat. Playing classic 2Tone and ska tunes that demand the dancefloor be filled, Ska-Per guarantee there's no sitting down when they take the stage.
Our first outing at Marmalade was in 2023 supporting legendary DJ Brandon Block. 2025 saw Ska-Per headline the Friday night.
A great indoor family orientated scooter rally held in Kent. Ska-Per have headlined the Saturday night twice, 2022 and 2024. They are also due to play at Shakedown's sister event Summer Shakedown in 2026.
Our Festival History
2025 saw Ska-Per make their fourth consecutive appearance at the festival, an unheard of occurrence for an amateur band . Supporting acts such as Aswad, Space, East 17, DOGP and The Real Thing. The band were booked for 2026, days after the event.
2023 and 2024 saw Ska-Per's Sunday Skank with large crowds at this iconic south coast event. 2025 had them headlining the Friday night event. For 2026 they'll bring the festival to a close headling the Sunday afternoon.
The band were discovered by promoters of this internationally acclaimed Ska festival while playing in a pub garden in Margate and invited to take part in the 2025 event held in Folkestone. 2026 saw the band involved in one of the pre festival warm up events.

Scooter rallies don't get much bigger than Big 7 with around a thousand scooterist in attendance. Ska-Per have headlined the Saturday night twice, 2023 and 2025
Ska-Per first played at this family friendly festival in 2021 and have been entertaining the crowds every year since, with 2026 no exception.
