"Stick Around For Ska-Per" 04/08/22
The Colonnades was heaving in the heat recently to the sounds of Bexhill based band Ska-Per, an eight piece local outfit which was belting out its mix of Ska, Two Tone and Reggae to what was without doubt the biggest crowd ever seen at the venue. The seating area was packed and it was almost impossible to get past the dancing throng on the promenade. The brilliant combination of the brass section married to a rock steady beat was the perfect backup to superb vocals, which comfortably captured the infectious and distinctive sound genre.

Ska-Per closed out Saturday night at the Big 7 Scooter Rally with a high-energy set that drew a strong crowd. The band delivered a confident performance, with clear chemistry on stage and a sound that kept the audience moving from start to finish. Their mix of ska rhythms and upbeat delivery proved a fitting end to a weekend of live music
